POST-PUNK. Dutch anarcho-punks, THE EX, have been making an exhilarating, politically charged racket since 1979. Over the years, the band's sound (at its core a taut no-wave-inspired style of post-punk) has come to incorporate folk-music, funk, free-jazz and other disparate styles. THE EX have maintained a fierce leftist stance, and have fully integrated their political beliefs into their art and lifestyle. Heroes of the underground, and something of a European answer to FUGAZI.

EXPERIMENTAL/POST-PUNK. THE EX have hooked up with one of the most powerful horn sections imaginable and sparks are sure to fly. Since 1979 this inspired, intrepid and seminal bands have consistently pushed the envelope, plotting a restless course from their anarchist punk origins to embrace everything from fractured noise to Ethiopian groove. Their thrillingly raw and rhythmic rock sound is born from their ideals, musical friendships/networks and work ethic. Alive to the moment, they are sometimes described as experimental trance-dance avant-afro-punk improv music. The swedish force BRASS UNBOUND is dexterous and dangerous, as players, improvisers and entertainers, this group are nothing short of phenomenal. Expect fireworks!
EXECUTIONER
hellbound (2010/PATAC)
HARDCORE.Formed in San Jose in 1982, EXECUTIONER's music was hard, fast, tight and loud. It contained extended guitar solos and stop-on-a-dime tempo changes. They sounded like nobody else. A mix of hardcore West-Coast punk-rock, early skate-hardcore in the vein of DEAD KENNEDYS, CIRCLE JERKS and BLACK FLAG. Catch them here in their formative years, and prepare to be blown away.
EXHORDER
the law (2010/ROADRUNNER)
THRASH-METAL. "the law" is the 2nd full-length by EXHORDER. Not as good as "slaughter in the vatican", but still killer. "the law" saw the band develop their southern groove style a little more, with the thrash not as prevalent on this album - but still heavy. Too bad they were overshadowed by other emerging trends in the early '90s. This album can appeal to fans of everything from SLAYER, PANTERA, DEATH and MACHINEHEAD. Limited colored edition.

GRINDCORE. EXHUMED fans rejoice! All those split 7"s and rarities you've been looking for have finally been compiled onto one massive collection. One look at the track list will show you that this thing is about as full as it possibly could be, the complete playing time is over 140min. and contains 66 tracks of fleshy, sickest, brutal grindcore. The 1st two LP's complies all of their split 7"s with SANITYS DAWN, GADGET, NYCTOPHOBIC, RETALIATION, PANTALONES ABAJO MORENERO, NO COMPLY, PALE EXISTENCE also the hard to find split CD with HEMDALE and a lot of compilation tracks. The 3rd and 4th LP compiles all their demos, their part of the "chords of chaos" split and the "excreting innards 7". All tracks malignantly mastered/remastered by Mastermind Scott Hull's. These vinyl edition comes in a deluxe LP BOX and heavyweight 180gr. vinyl. The box contains also massive linernotes.

HARDCORE. EXIT CONDITION were one of the 1st melodic hardcore bands from the UK. "bite down hard/impact time" is a 23 track LP, retrospective taking in the bands recorded output of 1988 and 1989 and features many tracks that have never been released on vinyl before or have been out-of-print for 2 decades. The album contains the original "impact time" demo from 1988 that led to the bands debut "bite down hard" 7" released by Pusmort in 1989, plus 6 tracks recorded in 1988/1989 that appeared on various compilation LPs at the time plus a track that has remained criminally unreleased to this point. The release containing liner notes, plus photos and memorabilia from the bands personal collection.

HARDCORE. EXIT CONDITION were one of the 1st melodic hardcore bands from the UK. "days of wild skies" is the 2nd of the releases, and is a repress of their classic solitary album from 1990. With all tracks being digitally remastered, and containing liner notes, plus photos and memorabilia from the bands personal collection, this is a must have release for fans of the whole hardcore scene.

INDIE-ROCK. Brooklyn, NY's EXITMUSIC release their debut album. "passage" is a collection of newly-written songs and some of their older tunes that received some new coats of paint. Here, the duo that make up EXITMUSIC's sound - one stirring atmospherics, one of grandioise and thoughtful pop - are let to bow further out than before. There are big, emotional dynamic shifts, and a wave-crashing momentum across the set without ever breaking a sustained feeling of tenderness. "passages" has a sound that is more powerful and more nuanced, covering broad oceans of emotional terrain. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

THRASH-METAL. Following the release of their last studio album, "Force of habit", in 1992, the highly influential thrash-metal band EXODUS went on hiatus, until reuniting with original singer Paul Baloff for a live album. Even when Baloff suffered and passed away in 2002, EXODUS didn't stop their quest for a comeback. They hired a replacement singer (Steve Souza) and released "Tempo of the damned" in 2004. "Tempo of the damned", a worthy comeback with crushing riff attacks, merciless drumming and distinctive vocal outbreaks. Strong and fresh, behold a real thrash hurricane that continued just as if the band has never left the stage, respectively the studio. "Tempo of the damned" was the comeback of the centaury & now it is available as a special reissue on red splatter vinyl.

Fabulous disaster (2008/BACK ON BLACK)
THRASH-METAL. When you speak of thrash-metal today, most people remember the bands that made the genere famous. METALLICA, ANTHRAX, MEGADEATH, OVERKILL and SLAYER. Many forget bands such as EXODUS, as they never had the popularity of the other bands, yet this remains one of the best trash albums put out in the 80's. This was a album that when 1st released in 1989. The breakneck pace is somehow held together, even through the explosive exchange of guitar solos. New paradigms are legitamized by testing them against existing systems. EXODUS proves that speed- and thrash-metal is viable with superb covers of "Low rider" (WAR) and "Overdose" (AC/DC). Both of these songs are not only covered well, they are given a new personality. This is a true must have for any essential thrash collection. DoLP comes in gatefold cover and colored vinyl!

THRASH-METAL. Reissue of EXODUS' 5th full-length "force of habit. The songs are a departure from the thrash-metal style for EXODUS, slower and more experimental. Many of the song titles are figures of speech. "force of habit" is EXODUS's last release until their 1997 live album "another lesson in violence" and is also their last studio album until 2004's "tempo of the damned", since the band went on extended hiatus. Colored double vinyl comes on stunning 180gr.
