HUGE
s/t (2013/681)
HARDCORE-PUNK. Russ and Dean of UNDERDOG fame present their band HUGE, with a more rock 'n' roll approach to hardcore-punk and influence provided by the beaches of New Jersey. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.
HUL
den danske ungsdom (2009/HJERNESPIND)
PUNK-ROCK. Re-issue of great album released by Copenhagen kiddie punks HUL in the year of 2001 in a ridiculously limited edition; this record has been needlessly obscure ever since. HUL predated the recent explosion of a great Danish punk by a few years - basically, this is the band where members of NO HOPE FOR THE KIDS, YOUNG WASTENERS and AMDI PETERSENS ARME and a bunch of other great bands got their start. People paying attention to the current Danish scene need to check this record out! Rippin' Danish punk from 2001! Limited pressing of just 500 copies for the US-market!

HUMAN MESS
anger problems (2009/DESENSITIZED)
HARDCORE-PUNK. Bakersfield's HUMAN MESS is back with another 5 tracks of crazed and destructive hardcore on this follow up to their new full-length on No Way Records. Even more raw and louder than ever, this one is sure to please fans of demo-era POISON IDEA.
HUMAN MESS
follow you home (2009/NO WAY)
HARDCORE-PUNK. Back in stock! Bakerfield's HUMAN MESS returns with 12 in-your-face headsmashers on this LP. Witness the sheer brutality here, this is one to break your neck to. Stripped down, totally raw hardcore-punk the way it was meant to be captured. The Recording is raw, loud, and intense as all hell. Let the violence commence! Definetly a must for fans of early POISON IDEA, THE GERMS and a hint of ANGRY SAMOANS.
HUMAN MESS
uncaged animal (2008/NO WAY)
HARDCORE-PUNK. Hailing from Bakersfield these punks blast out 5 tracks on their debut 7" entitled, "uncaged animal". That's exactly what this record is, lashing out with raw, pure, violent mayhem! To get close to what this sounds like, you could take early POISON IDEA and mix it with THE GERMS and you wont be too far away. This band also shares members with CONTAMINATORS and LOSER LIFE so you know they know what they're doing here.
HUMANOIDS, THE
are born (2007/ROCK BOTTOM)
PUNK-ROCK. One of St. Louis best kept secrets and amazing live band have come out with their debut release. This LP comes from a band that's been around for less than a year, but it already outclasses practically every group of veteran pop-punks THE HUMANOIDS are likely to play with. Failing to conform to any suffixed band affiliation, THE HUMANOIDS instead draw from a bevy of (somewhat) disparate punk influences such as DESCENDETNS, 7 SECONDS, SCREECHING WEASEL and DILLINGER FOUR. You'll get 8 songs in just under 15 min., will be some of the best time spent for your ears worth.
HUMANOIDS, THE
year of the snake (2009/ROCK BOTTOM)
PUNK-ROCK. THE HUMANOIDS are back with their follow up to the "are born" LP. Hailing from St. Louis, these 5 gentlemen bring you 2 songs and a cover of WIPERS' "youth of america". If you like a healthy dose of melody in your punk, this maybe the release for you! Think DAG NASTY, DESCENDENTS and NAKED RAYGUN and you will be on the right track.
HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH
show us the meaning of haste (2009/COWABUNGA/TO LIVE A LIE)
POWER-VIOLENCE HARDCORE. HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH 1st full-length shows still fastcore but its also way more textured and stretched out influentially to deem it just a typical fastcore record. They still maintain the NO COMMENT, HELLNATION influence they have always (so have no fear) had as well as their CORRUPTED and NOOTHGRUSH influenced sludge bits but also incorporate sounds of thrashcore and death-metal ala early AUTOPSY, DEATH into this to really get what they're going for. "show us the meaning of haste" is one of the best full-lengths in faster extreme hardcore this year - no question!
HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH
skullvalanche (2012/DEEP SIX)
POWER-VIOLENCE HARDCORE. HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH is back with their experimental 2nd full-length, "skullvalanche". Although they've always hinted at their brutal doom side on past releases, these 7 slabs of bulldozery plunged straight into the deep end. The result is a soundtrack to being buried in an avalanche of skulls. However, as a fastcore band, they made sure to blend their steamroller assault with the eye-watering speed for which they are known. Similar bands or musical genres: NO COMMENT, MAGRUDERGRIND and BASTARD NOISE.
HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH / I ACCUSE
split (2006/SOUND POLLUTION)
POWER-VIOLENCE/HARDCORE. I ACCUSE from Michigan tear it up with 11 songs of raging thrash-hardcore. All the catchy pissed off hardcore that made their debut 7" so great multiplied ten fold. HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH hail from the city Septic Death put on the map, Boise/Idaho. HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH unleash 15 songs of ultra fast stop on a dime thrash with the requisite amazing drummer. In the style of HERESY, NO COMMENT, SHORT HATE TEMPER, etc.. This is 100% ass kicking, blood boiling power-violence hardcore and thrash!
HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH / SIDETRACKED
split (2010/COWABUNGA)
POWER-VIOLENCE HARDCORE. For this split 6", SIDETRACKED move things along with late-'80s styled power-violence and hardcore while HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH provide 5 tracks of pure fastcore.
HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH / TITANARUM
split (2011/GIVE PRAISE)
POWER-VIOLENCE/HARDCORE. HUMMINGBIRD OF DEATH are no strangers in the grind and power-violence scene, with records on Sound Polltion, 625, Relapse. This collects a 2 song grindcore opus fueled with: blasting raw hardcore blaze-ups, fastcore tinges with breakneck speed, blast beat fury to make even the happiest folks frown. TITANARUM are here to spend their last recordings with this records. They play very solid hardcore, that has no need or call for any sugar-coating. Blasting, in-your-face, raw, angry and real hardcore.
HUMUNGUS
drink'n a beer (2013/FOREFIELD)
THRASH-METAL. Break neck riffage and ripping vocal chords! HUMUNGUS revives everything pure about '80s thrash and trashes the rest. Their latest 7", "drink'n a beer", attacks your ears with 2 raucous anthems. Delivering old-school speed-metal with razor sharp execution, these maniacs sound as gnarly as the Richmond basements from which they spewed forth.
HUNDREDTH
let go (2011/MEDIASKARE)
HARDCORE. HUNDREDTH's sophomore release for Mediaskare picks up where the band left off with a serious influence from the Floridian school of melodic metalcore championed by SHAI HULUD and STRONGARM.
