HARDCORE-PUNK. Nach einigen 7'es und Split Veroeffentlichungen kommt nun das erste full-length Album der Band aus Venezuela, die sich aber mittlerweile in Barcelona niedergelassen hat. Ursprunglich erschien diese Platte als CD auf Descontento Records, ebenfalls aus Venezuela. LOS DOLARES spielen sehr geilen suedamerikanischen Anarcho-Hardcore-Punk, ein wenig crustiger als die frueheren Sachen, mit leichter Metalkante und mit einem nicht zu verleugnenden Portland Touch. Dennoch ist auch ganz klar die suedamerikanische HC-Tradition zu hoeren, die sich auch in den langen Spoken-word-Parts niederschlaegt, die es immer wieder zwischen den ultra angepissten und schnellen Passagen gibt. LOS DOLARES koennte man als die suedamerikanische Version von OI POLLOI bezeichnen. Zum Abschluss gibt es mit 'Muerte al estado' noch eine Interpretation des COCK SPARRER Klassikers 'Where are they now'. Im sehr dicken Beiheft befinden sich englische Uebersetzungen der Texte und der Berichte ueber ihr Heimatland.
