Brutaler S.E. Hardcore aus dem schoenen Suedflorida, der die persoenlichen und gutgemeinten lyrics mit einer unglaublichen Intensitaet rueberbringt. Treibende Beats, ein schnaubender Saenger und Hintergrundchoere beim Refrain. Allerdings sind ON OUR OWN keine klassische Old School Band, sondern eher eine schnelle und kompromisslose moderne Band mit reichlich Tempo und vielen altbekannten Elementen, wie Moshparts, Circlepit-tauglichen Slampassagen und Refrains zum Mitschreien. Sehr zuegige und wuetende 12 Songs mit Titeln wie 'Think for myself', 'Torn apart' und 'Living a lie', die einfach nur so krachen und Freunden von TERROR sehr zusagen sollten ,auch wenn die Texte nicht so hasserfuellt sind. Die Band ist in Amerika schon keine unbekannte mehr und spielte dort schon mit UNTIL THE END, WHERE FEAR AND WEAPONS MEET, HOODS, RINGWORM, COMEBACK KID, STRETCH ARMSTRONG und vielen anderen.

SXE-HARDCORE. This is the debut 7" from Bakersfield's ON PARADE. The self-titled 7" contains 7 tracks of excellent violent, self-loathing, straight-edge influenced hardcore tracks for those who are down with the early Boston scene.

SXE-HARDCORE. ON POINT was a Southern California straight-edge band styled after the classics UNIFORM CHOICE, UNITY, INSTED and CHAIN OF STRENGTH with this demo being their only output and had members go on to form NEW BRIGADE. This was originally released on cassette in 2009.

POST-HARDCORE. Victory Records bringen uns mit dieser Band aus Seattle einen weiteren Kandidaten der Kajal- und Seitenscheitel-Fraktion, der mit viel dsterer Melodie und Dramatik zu Werke geht. ON THE LAST DAYS pr„sentieren uns auf ihrem Debutalbum 11 rockig, flotte Post-Hardcore Songs mit pr„gnantem, theatralischem Gesang und mehrstimmigen Hintergrundch”ren, vielen poppigen Passagen und einigen derben Screamoausbrchen. Auch die Gitarrenarbeit ist sehr ausgefeilt und reicht von satten Riffs bis zu frickeligen Leads. sogar vor Breakdowns wird hier nicht Halt gemacht, so dass der Vergleich mit FROM FIRST TO LAST und AIDEN durchaus berechtigt ist. Vor allem an letzteren orientieren sich O.T.L.D. ganz sch”n. packen noch eine dunkle und leicht depressive Grundstimmung in die Texte und werden somit, neben Fans beider genannten Bands, auch bei Anh„ngern von AFI und MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE viel Anerkennung finden.
