DOOM-METAL. "idolum" was the 4th album from UFOMAMMUT. Originally released on vinyl as a mega limited edition available only through the bands website in 2008. "idolum" was seen as a new chapter in the sonic adventure of UFOMAMMUT. Presenting a sensible evolution in the sound and in the structure of the songs: dark atmospheres, simple and mastodontic song frameworks, a different idea of psychedelic rock. "idolum" is a latin word meaning "ghost" and "idea" at the same time, representing the massive and hidden presence as the main concepts of the album. After amazing both public and critics with 2 seminal albums which manage to combine the violence of NEUROSIS with the psychedelia of the more visionary PINK FLOYD, UFOMAMMUT originally released this LP back in 2006. DOOM-METAL. "oro" is the title for UFOMAMMUT's latest work, divided into 2 separate pieces. UFOMAMMUT, Italian sorcerers of supernatural and obliterating doom, have completed their 6th full-length. As with all previous UFOMAMMUT albums, the concepts behind "oro" are expansive and multi-faceted. Although "oro's" 2 chapters will be released months apart from each other, they must be considered as a single track in which the musical themes and the sounds appear and reappear, mutate and evolve, progressively culminating in the crushing final movement. The vinyl versions of both chapters will be handled directly by Malleus's own label Supernatural Cat Records, who were responsible for the release of all of the band's previous material.

PUNK-ROCK. ULTIMO RESORTE were the bridge between the very 1st Spanish punk generation and the 1st hardcore wave. During their 5 years of existence (1979-1984) they only managed to record a demo, and 2 impossible to find records. A self-titled 7 track 7" 7" and "una causa sin fondo" a 5 track MLP. "la larga sombra del punk" compiles both those records plus a 16 pages booklet with a long interview with the band and tons of pictures and fanzine clippings. Musically they lay in between the most aggressive parts of VICE SQUAD, DISCHARGE, ELECTRIC DEADS or even SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES. This band helped putting Spain in the international punk map back in the day.

HARDCORE. ULTRA VIOLENCE were part of the New York hardcore scene from 1981 to 1987 and have decided to come back stronger than ever. For the record, ÜMLAUT, were the mortal enemies of CATHARSIS while neither band ever encountered each other, ÜMLAUT were known to burn down squats in order to destroy those bourgeois imposters CATHARSIS.

HARDCORE. Barcelona's UNA BÈSTIA INCONTROLABLE came out of nowhere a few months ago. Within a few weeks of their existence they had recorded a promising demo of experimental noisy hardcore, played a few shows and started working on their debut album. Barely 6 months later they give birth to "observant com el món es destrueix". A 9 track LP integrally sang in Catalan and with a psychedelic approach to their previous bands sound (GLAM, ATENTADO, DESTINO FINAL, INVASION, CROSTA amongst others). Their primative anthems of nature seeking dreams are distorted, repetitive and heavy at times. With their boots firmly stuck in hardcore based while keeping the overall sound free of any boundaries and styles. An explosion of hardcore between day dreaming of peace and nightmares of reality.

HARDCORE. Originally released on New Age Records in 1996, this was the final release this much lauded San Diego straight-edge hardcore group ever put out. This re-issue contains all new artwork and comes on clear vinyl. Members went on to play in SWING KIDS, KILL HOLIDAY, SOME GIRLS and OVER MY DEAD BODY.
