CRUST-HARDCORE. The band that stands before you known as MORNE (features Milosz (ex-FILTH OF MANKIND) and Jeff (ex-DISRUPT, GRIEF) started with many trials and tribulations. MORNE draws it's influence from powerful, intense bands such as AMEBIX, NEUROSIS and SACRILEGE. The undertones of these bands can certainly be heard in MORNE's sound, but they create an atmosphere all their own. WARPRAYER from the UK features members of RIPCORD, DUMBSTRUCK and they play raw crust-hardcore.

PUNK-ROCK. MORNING GLORY 1st became the spark of an idea back in 2001 when Ezra Kire (LEFTOVER CRACK etc.) took time off from touring and started to write and record some songs in his NYC apartment. Built on the backbone of ska, punk, crust, much like his other work, the songs Ezra wrote for MORNING GLORY served as an outlet for the expanded spectrum of his songwriting. This epic album is a sonic kaleidoscope of punk melding strings, horns, choirs, pianos, and organs over a web of distorted guitars and marching, single kick pedal drums. It is both grand and elaborate, with each song evoking a different mood and style, challenging the musicianship of even the most dexterous players, while still maintaining its punk-inspired simplicity and catchy anthemic sound throughout. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

INDIE-ROCK. THE MORNING LIGHT have a knack for writing ridiculously catchy piano-infused indie-rock- and pop songs that draw comparison to JACK'S MANNEQUIN, NADA SURF, THE FORMAT and PANIC AT THE DISCO. The 11 songs on their self titled debut album are crafted with intense dynamics and instrumentation that makes each song sound unique. The dueling soprano vocals of lead vocalist Bobby and vocalist/piano player Harrison bring all the songs together into a full album that plays from beginning to end in a way that many young bands set out to accomplish but usually don't achieve.

EMO/INDIE-ROCK. THE MORNING OF hails from Newburgh, NY where they humbly began playing any and every show they could. The six members create an unbelievably refreshing new sound. With insightful lyrics and revitalizing dueling vocals back and forth, each song hits you like a cannonball into cold pool on the hottest day of the year. Attention major label: These guys deserve some looking at. This MCD is a perfect blend of the various types of rock you've grown to love over the years, with a bit of something for everybody. Produced by John Naclerio (The Ataris, My Chemical Romance, Brand New).

INDIE-ROCK. MOROS EROS represent a lighter spot in the recent Victory catalog, playing an arty rock that isn't afraid to experiment, creating an album that is a collection of both dark and charming stories told alongside music reminiscent of that of bands like MODEST MOUSE, THE TALKING HEADS, CURSIVE and even THE MARS VOLTA at times.

INDIE-ROCK. Atlanta, Georgia's MOROS EROS decided to take a distinctly different approach musically to their new release. The dark lyrics combined with sunshiny pop from the 1st full-length are still present, but the music has taken a much more straightforward rock approach. Where as tracks on the 1st album sounded almost tribal with massive infused drumbeats, "Jealous me…" focuses much more on guitars and vocal harmonies. This change may alienate some fans as it is a noticeable departure, but with any good album, repeated listens are fully necessary to absorb all of the subtle complexities present. There is a little bit of everything on here!

HARDCORE/GRINDCORE/DEATH-METAL. This album is a shining example of what's come to be known as Bremen-style hardcore or the Per Koro sound. It's sort of like a marriage between '90s metallic hardcore and aggressive, tremolo-picked European screamo riffs. Don't let the emo reference put you off - "two hours to doom" is blazing fast and more on the grindcore side. Featuring members from SYSTRAL, CAROL, METÖKE. This masterpiece deliver 22 pure monstrous killer songs, recorded with 4 different vocalists and 2 bass-players. Completely over-the-top in every way. Your head will be spinning. [PK #019]

POST-PUNK/EMOCORE. MOSS ICON was founded in 1987 and pioneered a progressive, highly emotive sound that stood in stark contrast to just about everything even remotely considered punk-rock at the time. They more resembled an inspired marriage of the bleak post-punk leanings of JOY DIVISION with the raucous riffage of THE WIPERS, albeit less accessible thanks to MOSS ICON's more sinister tone. Remastered and packaged as a DoCD or 3xLP collection, each format is housed in a deluxe triple-gatefold jacket, complete with original lyrics and rare live photos.

HARDCORE. Sometime toward the end of 2006, MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD vanished. Word eventually spread that MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD had begun work on a new album. Let's be honest: a band like them doesn't name their record "do not resuscitate" unless they've got nothing left to lose - and this is when a band is at their best - when they have nothing to prove and they don't owe anything to anyone. Colored, limited vinyl edition includes a MP3 download card.

HARDCORE. Their take-no-shit work ethic has become notorious and remains unparalleled. This band is carrying Gotham City hardcore into the next generation. From their lyrics and music straight down to their stark black and white aesthetics, you know where MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD is from and where they stand. Haunting melodies and heavier-than-gravity riffs have become MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD modus operandi.

HARDCORE. The members of MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD forged their names in the NYC hardcore scene over the last years with a band called INDECISION, who was revered for their relentless touring schedule and unparalleled work ethic. After INDECISION's untimely demise, the founding members formed MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD and word spread like forest fire. More melodic than INDECISION, while still keeping their heavy side too.

HARDCORE. "our lady of annihilation" renounces the religious lunacy of those who would kill for what they can't prove exists. All of this behind the backdrop of the tragic, disfigured NYC skyline. MOST PRECIOUS BLOD does not submit, they will not bow to misery and self-pity. From their lyrics and music straight down to their stark black and white aesthetics, you know where MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD is from and where they stand.

HARDCORE-PUNK. MÖTEX hail from Bielefeld, Germany and they fuck shit up since a decade. Members played in local bands, like HANSWURST SENIOR, ZZZ HACKER and PRATFALL. Their style is comparable to classic early hardcore-punk bands like CIRCLE JERKS or SNFU, with a hint of Texas cow-punk ala HICKOIDS and scandinavian punk 'n' roll in the vein of early HELLACOPTERS and THE BONES. The diverse songwriting is very much present on this full-length - you'll get catchy hardcore, mid-tempo punk, hook laden fist pumpers, and everything in between. Great sounding record that brings to mind the golden era of hardcore-punk. Stunning 180gr vinyl edition. It rocks!

HARDCORE. MOTHER OF MERCY's debut full-length continues where they left off on their 2 highly acclaimed 7"s with a dark, heavy, hardcore sound with gloomy imagery, taking cues from bands like IRON AGE and BITTER END as well as the classic Clevo crunch of RINGWORM. Colored vinyl version includes MP3 download code.

HARDCORE. Formed in 2007, MOTHER OF MERCY plays contemporary metallic hardcore that draws some of the best elements of '90s hardcore with a well-executed tinge of metal. Their music is raw, abrasive and dark - highly influenced by UNDERTOW, IRON AGE and metallic RINGWORM. With several prior releases, MOTHER OF MERCY's new full-length is nothing less than stellar and poised to be one of the best metallic hardcore releases of 2011.
