HARDCORE-PUNK. German hardcore-punk legend re-issued! Limited 1st pressing of 500 copies as DoLP plus DVD, including coupon for free MP3 download of the entire album! The anthology with 32 songs by one of the very 1st german bands, alongside with SPERMBIRDS and SKEEZICKS, playing US-influenced hardcore-punk! H.O.A. took the german scene by storm with their self-released 7" in '85. All of the tracks from this classic 7" and the songs from the split LP with MANSON YOUTH are included. Furthermore there are previously unreleased tracks taken from early demo on this item, and additionally the best tracks from "simply too much nothing" released in '88, shortly before they broke up. Keyboard-driven, angst-riddled, new wave-y rock, recorded (at least in part) by Chris Walla from Death Cab for Cutie, this EP provides evidence of a far more developed sense of F-U-N than typically expected of the Spock set (which, by the way, is a decidedly good thing)
