Hidden beneath the layers of reverb, delay and distortion are deceptively simple and beautiful songs about experiences that have been obscured for many years that suddenly become profoundly important. HARDCORE-PUNK. California's IMPOSTERS delivered one of the stand-out 7"s of the whole SoCal hardcore scene, and this LP picks up right where that left off. This has a very strong surf music influence (there's even a VENTURERS cover). With a guitar sound that takes cues equally from X and the CHANTAYS and vocals that sound like a cross between JFA and the FREEZE, "the time has come" is a solid record to say the least. If this were 1980 Posh Boy would be all over these guys.
