HARDCORE. Reissue of the 1983 8 song MLP from this early '80s Venice band. Raw and abrasive, this band fit right in playing shows with friends SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, BEOWÜLF, EXCEL, and NO MERCY back in the early, pre-crossover days of the adolescent Los Angeles hardcore scene. For fans of the above mentioned and ILL REPUTE, THE GRIM etc..

PSYCHOBILLY-PUNK. This re-issue of NEKROMANTIX hard to find 1994 release 'Brought Back To Life' contains not only a video of the band performing a cover of "Born To Be Alive", but also an original intro intended for the album. This intro was on a mc tape that was tangled up in the tape machine and couldn't be used, therefore a last minute intro had to be made for the original release. After all these years Nekroman still had this tape and with today's technology and many hours of patience, Kresge & Nekroman managed to save it. The organ & bell version of "Nekrofelia" was also intended for the original release but it was decided to use the normal version instead. The alternate take appears on this album as does "Monster Movie Fan" with a slightly different ending than the original.

PSYCHOBILLY. Over the past 13 years their sinister sound has crept into the nightmares of psychobilly fans worldwide. With the release of "Return Of the Loving Dead" ( debut U.S. release), NEKROMANTIX captured the ears & hearts of the punk rockers, alternative, goth and beyond... NEKROMANTIX philosophy: have fun and hold nothing sacred. Says Nekroman, "We're kind of going back to the roots, just being teenagers again and not thinking too much about what we're doing. I'm not taking myself so serious, life or death or anything, because it's all about having a good time."

PSYCHOBILLY. Since forming in 1989, NEKROMANTIX have become one of the premier psychobilly acts in the world, combining the 1950s style of rockabilly with punk rock and adding a morbid sense of humor. NEKROMANTIX have inspired a generation of rockabilly and psychobilly bands, earned a Grammy nod, and spawned the immensely popular side project Horrorpops, who have scanned over 80,000 CDs in their own right. Now comes "Life is a grave and i dig it" with 13 tracks of soul stirringly eerie rock and roll. This is a return to the raw, driving sound of early classics like "Return of the loving dead". Vinyl kommt im schicken limitiertem Picture-disk!

PSYCHOBILLY. Like an unholy combination of the STRAY CATS and THE CRAMPS infused with a deadly double shot of gothic punk-metal, Denmark's NEKROMANTIX rock your sorry ass with murderous energy, highly original writing style, and relentless swing. They manage to pull off clever songs with titles like "Murder for Breakfast," "RubberMonks & LeatherNuns," and "Nice Day for a Resurrection" without sounding stupid, and guitarist Peter Sandorff absolutely BURNS like the redheaded stepchild of Johnny Thunders, Cliff Gallup, and Billy Duffy. The schizophrenic stylistic switches-from balls-out punk to straight ahead rockabilly-serve to make "Return of the Loving Dead" an entertaining and engaging listen throughout. Definitely worth checking out.

HARDCORE. Hailing from Fukuoka, Japan, NEMESIS is a young band taking cues from UK hardcore but played with the speed and intensity of early WARHEAD and NIGHTMARE, with an underlying Kyushu twist that brings homemates KURO to mind. Aggressive vocals, gang choruses, powerful guitars and intense drumming: unmistakably Japanese, this band carries on in the tradition of the Selfish, Blood Sucker and Discrete Records roster. You'll get 4 tracks that go for the throat. Raw and pure energy.

PROGRESSIVE-HARDCORE. Picking up the pieces of '90s hardcore and the underground heaviness of the '00s, NEMESIS pulls influence from HELMET and UNBROKEN but with a healthy dose of early ROLLINS BAND with members who have been putting their time into the hardcore scene for years in EMPIRE, HEADACHER etc., combining forces for a ripping 11min. of unique heaviness and riffs.

HARDCORE-PUNK. This brand new 7″ from NEO CONS was recorded in the same session as their debut 7" on Deranged. The a-side is a mid-paced hardcore stomper titled, "hardcore elite", and is backed with a cover song from Dutch legends JEZUS AND THE GOSPELFUCKERS/AGENT ORANGE "kill the police". Raw, snotty, catchy hardcore-punk from the Bay-Area.

HARDCORE-PUNK. On their 3rd 7", Bay-Area's NEO CONS continue to bust out raging rock 'n' roll-influenced hardcore-punk that takes cues from classic Midwestern bands like ZERO BOYS. "idiot circus" featuring 6 high energy hardcore-by-death stompers and their loudest, nastiest recording yet. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

HARDCORE-PUNK. There's an undeniable and infectious NEW BOMB TURKS and ZERO BOYS hook in Jason's snarl (from 86 MENTALITY), and it suits the '80 midwest hardcore steeped in KBD sensibilities just fine. Stripped down and simple hardcore-punk; 6 songs of piss and vinegar hardcore-punk. You will find nothing fancy crammed into the next minutes, you will also realize that you often don't need anything fancy.

PUNK-ROCK. NEO PISS deliver 2 new songs of dark and melodic punk done right. Like later gloomy THE DAMNED mixed with good early WIPERS and tons of texture and layers to the songs.

PUNK-ROCK. NEON PISS have been crafting their debut vinyl release for nearly 2 years. Everything about NEON PISS sounds familiar - you know how you are going to feel as soon as you hear the opening swagger and they are every bit as good as you hope they are going to be. An LP full of songs that will make you feel instantly comfortable. You are welcome to dismiss this as some more of that melodic punk that you are too cool to admit that you like, but you would be a fool. Yes, the songs are catchy, and yes NEON PISS will get stuck in your head, but this shit is deep and these songs are as close to utter brilliance. If your into THE OBSERVERS, MANIKINS, THE BRIEFS and other melodic punk band - you should buy this immediately.

This trio are equal parts musicians, sculptors, scientists, blacksmiths, electricians, and industrial machinists; relentlessly inventive. They construct their own instruments, forging guitars and drums out of circular saw blades, gas tanks, oil drums, bike parts, VCR casings, and miscellany from the trash. The effect is a bizarre, post-apocalyptic mélange of steel, iron, wire, rust, rivet, knob, and cable. Concerts are seizures of motion. NEPTUNE rocks. Hard. Recalling the slapdash angularity of THE FALL, the rhythmic ack-ack blasts of THIS HEAT, and the sheer proto-clangor of EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN, they count as one of the best experimental rock bands of any era.
