SXE-HARDCORE. FACE THE ENEMY is a straight-edge hardcore outfit featuring former MOUTHPICE/HANDS TIED shouter Tim McMahon on vocals, other well-known members are Ed McKirdy (KILLING FLAME) and Ken Olden (BATTERY etc.). NEVER SURRENDER features the living-legend Porcell on vocals, former member of highly influencial bands such as YOUTH OF TODAY, PROJECT X, SHELTER, JUDGE. NEVER SURRENDER contribute the 1st five tracks and they play moshy hardcore, mostly mid-tempo, rooted somewhere between JUDGE and INSIDE OUT. This is pretty dark, heavy, aggressive, and anger-driven. Next is FACE THE ENEMY and no, they do not disappoint. Fast paced old-school hardcore, driven by Tim's infamous and unmistakeable vocals and enriched with your typical crew-backups.

EMO/INDIE-PUNK. Matt Pryor from THE GET UP KIDS startet THE NEW AMSTERDAMS as a side project. This is the 7th and final album from the band. Acting as a more introspective singer-songwriter outlet than the loud emo-punk of his primary band. When THE GET UP KIDS broke up, THE NEW AMSTERDAMS became his primary focus. It was during this time that the bulk of "outroduction" was recorded. With the release of this record Pryor closes THE NEW AMSTERDAMS chapter of his career. Vinyl includes a digital download card.

After relocating from the Northeast to the Gulf-Coast of Florida, NEW BRUISES jumped back into the studio to record this much anticipated and delayed full-length album that shows the band growing up while staying true to their melodic punk-rock roots, taking cues from HOT WATER MUSIC, early SMALL BROWN BIKE and ALKALINE TRIO.

STOLEN BIKES RIDE FASTER are named after a Grade song and the Italian band play a brand of melodic hardcore similar to their namesake, yet are hardly a carbon copy.

GARAGE-ROCK. It has been an interesting journey since RADIO BIRDMAN front man Rob Younger formed THE NEW CHRISTS in 1984 to support Iggy Pop on his Australian tour of that year. Like a curse, THE NEW CHRISTS' recorded output returns to haunt them. Which is to say that inevitable comparisons to the band's 1st long-player "distemper" that roll out whenever a fresh album hits the racks will be back. Four full albums in 28 years isn't prodigious anyway.
