HARDCORE-PUNK. Sweden’s NITAD offer on this platter 4 great new tracks of their awesome brand of Swedish meets US hardcore-punk. This is definetly their best stuff to date. Best songwriting, best recording, best art, just all around perfect. The songs are catchy but just so powerful and in-your-face, it’s ridiculous. This isn’t rehash hardcore-punk, that’s why it’s so hard to describe and their so underestimated, but do yourself a favor and pick it up, NITAD rules!

HARDCORE-PUNK. The musical idea behind "rastlös och vild" is simple - good, straight forward hardcore-punk. This is the 2nd album from these Stockholm punks. Straight out the gate NITAD is in full-on bulldozer mode, leveling everything in their path with early PISSED JEANS-style riffing and unhinged vocals. They pick up the pace for much of the rest of the full-length, but partial to these heavy, mid-tempo moments which show the gubbestyrka in full plumage. Easily one of the top hardcore-punk release for 2012. Limited white vinyl.

HARDCORE. This european tour-7" has 6 songs of manic japanese hardcore-thrash. They're mix their classic japanese style with some of melody and a totally crazed approach. Think of bands like GAUZE, DON DON, BLAZE, and GOGOOL PLEX. Fucking awesome stuff here, and limited to 500. Check it out or miss out!

HARDCORE. Ballistic Tokyo thrash from these 2 Tokyo distortion mongers. Four songs each, in preparation for their West Coast tour in January 2006.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Connecticut NO is in possession of something rare: that inimitable, smile-inducing blend of hardcore authority and rock 'n' roll playfulness. The trio recognize its twofold responsibility as a punk band: to provide visceral catharsis and, simply, to have fun. Moreover, they know how to fuse the two so tightly that most listeners wouldn't be able to find the seam. Punk-rock monotony is shattered at every corner of "can you dig it?" with scaling, busy basslines and a genuine sense of funk. Breakdowns are pure MINUTEMEN, and it doesn't hurt that the singer/guitarist/engineer's sounds like a more intimidating, potentially athletic D Boon.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Following a couple of demo tapes that didn't really do them any favours, London's NO did what most bands should do, namely go back to the practice space. After a while, everything finally clicked and they recorded this killer record - 8 tracks of ferocious, desperate hardcore-punk played by misfits (some of whom also play in SATELLITES OF LOVE, SHITTY LIMITS and TREMORS) that sounds rooted in the sounds of early Richmond and Mid-Western American hardcore (comparisons to DIE KREUZEN, a more rabid WHITE CROSS and MECHT MENSCH aren't completely invalid), but not stuck completely in the past. This is going to be seen as an essential document of UK hardcore in years to come. Lmited to 500 copies.

POST-ROCK. Since the release of "weirdo rippers", through "nouns", and beyond, LA duo NO AGE has earned enthusiastic notice from all over the globe. "everything in between" sees NO AGE expand on the emotional force at the core of their catchy song-writing through tone, structure, noise, and samples. They've pushed themselves in challenging and different directions, deconstructing their weird-out pop songs while still maintaining their original aesthetic and intent. And, it's their best record yet. The vinyl edition includes deluxe packaging, with a 48 page booklet, as well includes MP3 download code.

POST-ROCK. NO AGE is the Los Angeles duo of Dean Spunt and Randy Randall. “glitter” is the lead 7"/MLP from their highly anticipated new album, "everything in between". They’ve pushed themselves in challenging and different directions, deconstructing their weird-out pop songs while still maintaining their original aesthetic and intent. Where their explorations in sound were previously suspended separately around instrumental reveries and misty coatings of distortion, these abstractions are now adding to the emotion and euphoria throughout every song. “glitter” is available on 7" and 12", each with their own b-sides. Includes MP3 download code.

POST-ROCK. "losing feeling" is a new 4-song MLP from our Southern Californian friends NO AGE. All 4 songs were written in the band’s practice space. “genie” was even recorded there; the other 3 were recorded at Infrasonic Sound. All of it took place in Los Angeles. "losing feeling" will be available as a MLP and as magical, invisible, digital files, but not as a compact disc.

POST-ROCK. "nouns", the band's Sub Pop debut, is succinctly all-encompassing, from the faux-simplicity of the title to the beautiful distortion of its sound, to the packaging that includes a 68-page fullcolor book packed with photos and art pieces. The record opens with a symphony of noise and sometimes creeps, sometimes smashes through a sonic headlock befitting "daydream nation"-era SONIC YOUTH, KIWI POP, MY BLOODY VALENTINE, and experimental noise. Vinyl includes a MP3 download card.

NOISE-PUNK. "less" is the highly acclaimed 2nd full-length of NO BALLS from Sweden. Sexually driven, mean and nasty proto punk with no-wave hints. A vast play with associations, let the songtitles sink and fill the voids yourself for this raw in-your-face assault. Yet again a very good vinyl mastering that displays the details clearly and carves out the edges very precisely. Limited edition of 650 copies.

HARDCORE-PUNK. What do you get when you combine bad relationships, growing up in the bible belt, undying teenage angst and filter it through a complete lack of discretion, while on the brink of a nervous breakdown? You'll get 10 and a half tracks of foot stomping, knuckle dragging, Midwest hardcore, entirely apathetic to your personal feelings...NO fucking CLASS.

HARDCORE-PUNK. "keine klasse II" is NO CLASS' 2nd attempt at peering out of their neanderthalic cave in which they reside. Perceiving a world which they still don’t care for, "keine klasse II" picks up the motion where the 1st full-length left off, with 10 more tracks of knuckle dragging commentary on your identity, religion, scene and whatever else rubs them the wrong way. Which is pretty much everything. With the right touch of hate and sarcasm - it's fast, it's slow, it's intellectual, and of course, moronic. Nice gatefold jacket to boot.

HARDCORE/POWER-VIOLENCE. Finally this 1st classic release got repressed. In the late ‘80s and early ‘90s brutality hardcore was being born with Southern California contributing CROSSED OUT, INFEST and NO COMMENT. NO NCOMMENT played fast and energetic hardcore with songs about the cesspool of human existence, animal rights, and other ills of life on planet earth. The definitive example of West-Coast hardcore and Slap-A-Ham power-violence.

POWER-VIOLENCE HARDCORE. Reincarnation of the classic NO COMPLY (who did splits with EXHUMED, CHRIST MESS, XBRAINIAX) with original member Justin Abare still in the ranks. One-sided with the same material repeated on the b-side.
