BLACK/DEATH-METAL. AXIS OF ADVANCE formed from the still-warm ashes of SACRAMENTARY ABOLISHMENT. Picking up right where SACRAMENTARY ABOLISHMENT left off, AXIS OF ADVANCE began their existence with the release of a 3 song MCD of crushing black- and death-metal. With only 500 copies of this 1999 release, it tends to be forgotten in the wake of their more recent releases despite being some of their most vicious and primitive material. Landline features 2 songs that were written for what was meant to be SACRAMENTARY ABOLISHMENT's 3rd album (they also get rerecorded for AXIS OF ADVANCE's debut album "strike"), as well a SACRIFICE cover. Expect nothing less than top-notch apocalyptic nuclear filled blackness!

HARDCORE. After two split 7”´s with FUBAR and WHAT IF GODS LIE comes now a 3rd split 7” from AXT from Neubrandenburg, Germany. Raging, dirty hardcore with some grindcore influences that bring the power you like - 6 short and fast songs in 6 min. BLUTHUF from Berlin, with former AUTORITÄR, EGAL and LAZY MAN'S LOUD members on the flipside deliver their 3 track vinyl debut. You will get diverse fast hardcore with a couple crust influences and german vocals. From chaotic hardcore with smashing breaks and duelling guitars you'll get the whole hardcore scale.

These guys play furious and energetic skate- trashy hardcore-punk like in the good '80s. If you like the classic CIRKLE JERKS, BLACK FLAG or JFA you will love B.U.S.H., too! The album includes 14 tracks of hardcore-punk spiced with dusty post-punk influences, a very cool recording and even much better creafted songs than their earlier material. (initially meaning BUY US SOME HEROIN) kick down some WASTED YOUTH and JFA-inspired '82 hardcore-punk, mixed together with '60s garage-rock riffs and late '70s punk influences, blending rawness, energy and plenty of guitar licks. If you like the early California, Oxnard bands or you already lost your heart during listening to your old Posh Boy stuff you will love those brazilian guys, too!

POST-HARDCORE. This is BAADER BRAINS' 2nd, final and posthumous sonic treatise. Bringing to mind the knocked-out-teeth vibe of David Tarling's "nervous breakdown"-era BLACK FLAG production values, and somehow mixed with the highbrow artistry of Windham Hill easy-listening releases. BAADER BRAINS here achieves the equivalent of a ketchup-and-ice-cream mash-up. "the new era hope colony" LP is not only a meditation on our current predicament, but also a beacon of hope looking towards a yet-to-be-determined future. Indeed, with this record the paradoxes and promises of "the incomplete unfinished works..." will finally be resolved. PUNK-ROCK. The Swedish punk-rock four piece acclaimed much attendance with the forerunner "punkrock harbour". Since the band started in 2003, they have become well known for their furious live shows and earned rightfully the reputation to be one of the most exciting live acts in the genre. Hence expectations and suspense are highly leveled. They prove their excellence: in a tremendously catchy songwriting! GARAGE-PUNK. For many people this can be considered the "lost" BABY WOODROSE album. It was originally released in 2006 and followed the succesful "money for soul" album. At the time "love comes down" was only released in Scandinavia and not many people outside here ever got the chance to hear it. Which is a shame as it contains a great mix of pretty straight forward garage rockers mixed with beautiful moodier stuff. "love comes down" featured the original BABY WOODROSE line-up.

GARAGE-ROCK. In 2011 it's 10 years ago that Lorenzo Woodrose started his own label Pan Records and released the BABY WOODROSE debut album "blows your mind". The album is still a favourite among many BABY WOODROSE fans. To celebrate the 10 year anniversary Bad Afro will release "mindblowing seeds & disconnected flowers" - a collection of 15 of the original 4 track demos that led to the release of "blows your mind".

GARAGE-ROCK. The '60s rock theme runs throughout the record. This vinyl re-issue could be used as soundtrack for those movies, '70s rock par excellence is what we get. It has this fuzzy flair from the garage bands of that time, with that dirty edge to it, which at times almost smells of some not all that legal substances. The songs are pretty simple, but they just have feeling, something that many bands these days are just lacking big time. Simple, effective, good, this is BABY WOODROSE!

GARAGE-PUNK. All BABY WOODROSE albums have a different vibe and with "third eye surgery" they have made their space rock album. For the 1st time Lorenzo Woodrose integrate the heavy psych of his side projects DRAGONTEARS and SPIDS NOGENHAT with the fine song writing of BABY WOODROSE. No matter how much the fuzz guitar is wailing or the echo machine is tripping, there's always a good song hiding beneath the rumble. Several of them clocks in at 6min. so there are only 9 songs on "third eye surgery". Vinyl comes as usual in a nice designed gatefold-cover.

PROGRESSIVE-HARDCORE. Housed in a gorgeously hefty production, the long-awaited debut LP from Irealnd’s BACCHUS is a tense and hulking assault of millenium-era progressive crusty hardcore. With Elements of FROM ASHES RISE and KYLESA forming a raging, spiralling monument of caustic desperation, this is never reductive. Refusing to take the easy option and revelling in a staunchy progressive approach to hardcore, this is like NEUROSIS raised on amphetamine and tempered with weed: excellent. BACK WHEN returns with a pummeling epic 5 min. song which is a halfway point between the "swords against the father" 7" and their full-length "we sang as ghosts" while on the flip side Richmond's THE SETUP, fresh from their split on Electric Human Project, blast full-speed ahead with two brand new songs combining the finer elements of hardcore, punk, and metal with an ex-member of LIGHT THE FUSE AND RUN on guitar. HARDCORE. This Double LP brings together the "my broken world" and "in harm's way". BACKFIRE's music is aggressive and the songs are solid and strong. Everything is there, the razor sharp guitars slashing from left to right, the armoured tank artillery, the collossal earhquake like basslines, all mixed with the signature vocals that spew forth lyrics of angst and frustration. BACKFIRE succeeded in setting standards in the Dutch hardcore scene. The double LP is limited to 300 items, comes on colored vinyl, 180gr vinyl, is housed in a gatefold-cover and includes a digital download card.
