Twelve years ago, when the owner of Pirates Press received SMALLTOWN's very 1st demo all the way from Sweden, he had no idea that he'd get to put out not one, but 2 great releases by this amazing band. This 4 song MLP and the extra track highlighting the insanity of a CD-Record, along with the extra goodies included on the CD, make this a treasure for any SMALLTOWN fan. A "CD-Record" is a vinyl record pressed by a CD manufacturing press that looks and feels like a CD, with a grooved surface; comes with a standard turntable foam adapter for the center-hole of the CD. Limited edition of 500 copies.

PUNK-ROCK. With 2 solid 7"s under their belt, this 3 piece swedish outfit joins the Deranged roster. SMALLTOWN have been compared to the likes of STIFF LITTLE FINGERS and NEWTOWN NEUROTICS and that's probably as good a comparison as it gets. Tuneful melodic punk-rock with slightly raspy vocals.

HARDCORE-PUNK. "cominciare a vivere" is the 2nd 7" by Italian powerhouse SMART COPS (with members of LA PIOVRA and OHUZARU). Yet again you'll get super catchy hardcore with a touch of lo-fi, garagy punk. SMART COPS bringing to mind CAREER SUICIDE, REGULATIONS and GOVERNMENT WARNING. If you like their previous release on Sorry State Records you'll love this too.

HARDCORE-PUNK. Finally, a thick 180gr long-player from the almighty SMART COPS. Already known for crafting some of the most infectious, hook-filled hardcore, Italy's SMART COPS up the catchiness ante even further on their full-length album. While the foundation is still based on tough and aggressive '80s hardcore, the band's songwriting chops have matured considerably, and while it might be shocking at first to hear these guys with such big, glossy production, you'll quickly realize that this release takes everything you already loved about SMART COPS and turns it up to 11.

Their music is much like their name; an explosion of ideas with thought-provoking lyrics that encourage the listener to question everything. Building on influences from a wide range of genres within punk, hardcore, and rock 'n' roll, SMARTBOMB offers an inspiring blend of progressive thinking and progressive punk-rock.

PUNK-ROCK. Once dubbed as NO TRIGGER's side project, SMARTBOMB is wasting no time shedding the side project ties and is quickly jumping to the frontlines of the punk-rock scene. This is evident with their hectic touring schedule but most prominently on their debut full length, "diamond heist". With the craft of Jim Siegel (Dropkick Murphys, The Unseen), "diamond heist", which was nearly 4 years in the making, showcases an obvious progression since their debut MCD. "diamond heist" is still very much fast, snotty, and punk!

HARDCORE. A remarkable cross border collaboration: SMASH DETOX is Ishiya and Souichi (FORWARD), Mukai ( JUDGEMENT), Zac ( WORLD BURNS TO DEATH) Iizawa (TETSU AREI). You'll get 2 powerful songs that take elements of the intense hardcore sounds of each of their classic Japanese and American Hardcore bands, but combined to a new and unique whole. Created with intense focus and effort, this recalls many of the classic Tokyo hardcore-punk 7"s of the late '90s, but also has the unmistakable mark of Texas Powerhouse hardcore.
