POST-ROCK/EXPERIMENTAL. This is a collaboration between ANGEL (containing members of MUM and PAN SONIC) and STRINGS OF CONSCIOUSNESS. An intricacte and imaginative soundtrack with several layers of sound, gathering both organic and sonic elements to assemble a post-industrial sound structure. The latter will give life to a noisy magma where unexpected clicks stumble over interferences, where digital accidents happen and where drones, acoustic resonance fill the space in time. A multitude of digital notes will slowly stretch to reach a dark-grey chaos, a pure and clean big bang echoing and calling lost sound memories.

HARDCORE. Debut LP from the most rugged and uncompromising band in North Carolina hardcore. Since their earliest days, STRIPMINES has been combining crushing crustpunk rhythms, SKITKIDS-esque rocked-out riffs and leads, and pit-annihilating breakdowns, but the monstrous production and ambitious, non-intuitive songwriting on "crimes of dispassion" bring their sound to new levels of intensity, while vocalist Matt Lavallee still emits a Brannon-esque bellow that is one of the most intense and identifiable voices in hardcore today. INDIE-ROCK. It's been a decade since THE STROKES’ debut. It's been 5 years since their last release. After solo projects that made fans further question the future of THE STROKES, the group releases "angles", and now they’re at it again. THE STROKES may have returned with a lackluster release, but "angles" is still a decent record for the collection. Despite the few songs on "angles" that are more similar to pop songs with mutations than authentic STROKES material, the album is a precursor to the better album.

Before THE LOCUST, before THE SWING KIDS, before BREAD & CIRCUITS there was a very young band from San Diego called STURGGLE. They were an energetic band that played brutal political hardcore that was powered by anger and youthful angst. The early STURGGLE sound was heavily influenced by DOWNCAST and RORSCHACH, and this first release was a powerful explosion of high energy hardcore. Furious and aggressive. Probably their best release.

Dass die Jungs ausserdem Humor haben, beweisen sie bei ''Rock'n'Roll toilet bowl''. Die kleine 5-Song Scheibe steckt in einem Siebdruck Cover mit Artwork von IMPALED's Shawn, kommt mit dickem Beiblatt und einem coolen Poster. Was fuer Fans von VERBAL ABUSE und Konsorten. Sehr gut!

"Violent nun", "Peruvian vacation", "Retard picnic", "A bbc recording", "Van stupid/frankfurter" and "Jesus meets the stupids". THE STUPIDS were one of the legendary UK hardcore pioneers who, in 3 short years from 1984 to 1987 went from 4 track demos to the front cover of several magazines and indie-number #1 chart albums. The 1st hardcore band to record a session for the John Peel show, to openly embrace US hardcore-punk within their sound and style, THE STUPIDS paved the way for the whole UK hardcore scene and “britcore” explosion that followed. The godfathers now finally get the reissues their back catalogue deserves, and the 1st time any STUPIDS reissues have been done with the complete involvement and backing of the band themselves. All 6 are available on limited edition coloured vinyl with gatefold sleeves (first press 500) complete with full-liner notes and unseen photographs and band memorabilia.
