DRONE/NOISE-ROCK. Three years after the release of the critically acclaimed "s/t" album, Swedens loudest trinity breaks the silence. In the 3 massive compositions on this, the 5th selftitled album, SWITCHBLADE takes you on a journey crashing through the walls of perceptual reality and returning knee deep in loss, vengeance and death. Brittle melodies erupt in to dense mass of impending doom as this beast drag its feet out of the darkness to prevail over daylight. In just over 49min. SWITCHBLADE reveal their dire predictions to the masses trapped in a decaying world. Where all that is light collapse under the tower of their hopes and dreams. Louder than that which crashes in heaven, slow as the march of celestial time. Heavyweight gatefold covers with a special spot varnish effect.

DRONE/NOISE-ROCK. The phoenix has risen once again in a new shape and form. This time as a two-headed beast. The adjustment from trio to duo has been perfected over the course of the last 3 years and this album is the fruit of that labor. SWITCHBLADE is taking one big step forward and two steps backward. SWITCHBLADE plunges into an array of different dynamics. Always ebbing and flowing. This time joined by OPETH, CLUTCH/CANDLEMASS, TERRA TENEBROSA, KONGH and KATATONIA members. Thick 180gr vinyl comes thick deluxe gatefold-sleeves and includes a digital download card.
NOISE-ROCK. Ohio's two-piece horror sound unit, SWORD HEAVEN clock in with their 1st studio recording, a sweaty water boarded masterpiece of claustrophobic proportions. Funhouse mirrors and stretched out faces yell from behind flaming curtains while a neanderthal cave bat clubs your dome over and over and over with the sounds of drums, looped vocals and samples. The kids are not all right and that is all right.
apocryphon (2012/RAZOR & TIE)
DOOM/STONER-METAL. Over the course of 3 mind-altering, critically-praised albums, THE SWORD has proved to be one of rock's most intriguing bands. Part SABBATH, part MELVINS and part HIGH ON FIRE, the band has already created a body of enormous riffery that has crushed ear drums the world over. On 2012's "apocryphon", the band has taken the best elements from each of their previous albums and made a record that is the most fluid and heavy of the band's career. Colored vinyl includes a digital download card.
Same (2002/BRIDGE NINE)
From the remains of Anthem of the Century and In The Clear comes Sworn In. They play classic hardcore in the vein of Right Brigade and American Nightmare, with a 'going for the throat' approach. Heartbroken, pissed off, satirical and passionate. A hard, fast and powerful antidote to many of today's heartless incarnations!
esprit de corps/joaquin murrieta (2011/PIRATE PRESS)
HARDCORE-PUNK. The SYDNEY DUCKS is a band with exceedingly solid songs and lyrics that create their own distinct sound. Featuring ex-members of AIRFIX KITS, ACEPHALIX, OUR TURN and others, they clearly come from a wide variety of punk and hardcore backgrounds - and it shows. Their debut 7" is nearly sold-out and this follow-up to it is sure to be a hit as well.
stray dogs/he lives for today (2012/PIRATES PRESS)
HARDCORE-PUNK. The original pressing of the SYDNEY DUCKS self-released debut 7" is well out-print, but Pirates Press couldn't let that happen - it's too good. It has been re-mixed and re-mastered so it's louder and crisper than the 1st pressing. Colored 7" includes a digital download card.
s/t (2013/DR. STRANGE)
PUNK-ROCK. One of the best and most underrated of the early West-Coast punk bands who started up in 1980 and who were quickly signed to Posh Boy. The band was right in line with contemporaries like T.S.O.L., CHANNEL 3, AGENT ORANGE and ADOLESCENTS. This reissue includes all the band's early Posh Boy material including their "self-titled" MLP from 1982 and their 1987 song from the punk compilation "the future looks brighter" plus unreleased demo and live songs circa 1980-1982. Includes never seen Ed Colver photos! Limited to 500 copies.
s/t (2012/DESOLATE LEGACY)
HARDCORE. Brand new band from richmond featuring Brandon from DIRECT CONTROL, GOVERNMENT WARNING on drums. This is nothing like his other bands. SYNDROME play dead on swedish style d-beat very much like TOTALITÄR and ANTI-CIMEX. Wild reverbed vocals and tons of raw energy - this 7" rips!
apertures (2012/ERSTE THEKE)
POST-PUNK-ROCK. There’s a new best band in San Francisco. And this band plays a beautiful cacophony of raw, frenetic guitars, fiercely pounded drums, and jerky yet oddly melodic vocals. Perfect timing and guitar damage reminiscent of the PROLETARIAT underscores a vocal delievery not dissimilar to THE OBSERVERS but less operatic and more desperate. It's jerky, derailed, and draws heavily from early post-punk, but chugs along at a classic punk tempo, blasting out totally agitated lyrics the whole time. This record is a tight, fuzzy underground treasure in the waiting. SYNTHETIC ID is reacting to their urban locale with more spite, damage and unnerving vitality.
s/t (2012/CUT THE CHORD THAT)
POST-PUNK-ROCK. SYNTHETIC ID play jerky and genuine jams for fans of WIPERS, THE FALL, PERE UBU and OBSERVERS. This 3 song banger is angular and deliberate, and the guitars are brilliant. Contributing member of FACE THE RAIL, ECOLI, YADOKAI, and HUNTING PARTY. This demo is short, to be sure, but so very sweet.

This new edition features the original baphomet pentagram artwork and comes with an insert that was not included with any previous pressings. Cast your souls into the abyss and bask in the thermonuclear blast of the motor demon yet again!
Thought control (1997/SKULD)
PUNK. THE SYSTEM formed in the summer of 1980 having messed around in various other bands since 1978. In 1981 they met a band called FLUX OF PINK INDIANS, who helped them make their first single - the Warfare ep. This was very successful and contained their anthem - "the dogs of war". By mid 1981 they were touring with FLUX OF PINK INDIANS and the legendary CRASS. They followed up with their 2nd 7" "The system is murder". By this time they were being recognized all over the Uk, Europe and the USA. Soon the album would follow and here it is! Sorry it is a bit late but politics never change. And its as relevant today as it would have been then.
